By how He lived – and by how he died – Jesus showed us the way to be truly alive and free. Gospel Values, Inc. exists for the sole purpose of proclaiming the beautiful message of Jesus in all its simplicity and challenge.

The DVDs in the Big Al LIVE series are to invite children ages 2 to 102 to live and love as Jesus did, and so to know the life Jesus promises.

Fr. Joe has recently published two new prayer books for children entitled: “My Sister is Annoying… and Other Prayers for Children”… by Big Al and Fr. Joe. The second is entitled: “You Want Me To Be Good, ALL DAY?” by Big Al, Big Al’s sister, Annie, and Fr. Joe. In each prayer book there are twenty prayers and are wonderful for children; and for those who love them. In addition, each book comes with a read-a-long CD which features Big Al, Fr. Joe and – in the second prayer book – Big Al’s sister, Annie! It’s hard to read these brief and beautiful prayers and NOT be moved.

Who is Fr. Joe?

Winner of the “Great Preacher Award” from the Aquinas Institute of Theology, Fr. Joe Kempf is someone whose love for God shows forth in an enthusiasm for life. Pastor of Assumption Parish in O’Fallon, MO., and author of the book, “No One Cries the Wrong Way” (subtitled: “Seeing God Through Tears”). Fr. Joe is founder of “Gospel Values,” a non-profit company dedicated to proclaiming the beautiful message of Jesus for children of all ages. Fr. Joe is perhaps best known for his video works.

He has recently completed a series of DVDs for children called “Big Al LIVE – Gospel values for children” (vol. 1-3) and a fourth volume called: “Big Al LIVE – Special Occasions,” published by Harcourt Religion Publishers. Liguori Publications carries Fr. Joe’s new book titled: “My Sister is Annoying…” and Other Prayers for Children, by Big Al and Fr. Joe has twenty prayers in the book and are wonderful for children; and for those who love them. It’s hard to read these brief and beautiful prayers and NOT be moved.
